What is the best approach when attempting to calculate the value of LAT installs?

I've seen companies simply classify LAT users as Organics, but I think that's a mistake. Some apps see a very large differential in the average value of an Organic user and the average value of a Paid / Acquired user, and my sense is that LAT users tend to be more sophisticated than non-LAT users given that they have gone to the trouble of finding the LAT setting.
If it's critical (or even helpful) for you to incorporate some LAT value into your projections (which it may or may not be), then you can either do a lot of testing to try to come up with LAT contribution ratios by channel (which would be time consuming and expensive), or you can just give LAT users some sort of weighted average paid user LTV.
