Tel Aviv, Israel-based Appsee was founded in 2012 and operates a platform that allows app developers to visualize their users’ interactions with their apps (as opposed to tracking event count-based success funnels). Appsee has raised $1MM in seed funding.
Appsee offers tools like heatmaps and actual session videos to app developers; using these, developers can identify choke points and UX / UI confusion. Appsee itself identifies events within the app — rather than taking a pre-defined set of event parameters — which allows for conversion funnels to be defined and back-tested without making changes to the app. Appsee is priced on a sliding scale, from a free tier that tracks up to 1,000 monthly sessions through an enterprise tier, priced at $1.5k per month, that tracks up to 2.5MM sessions.
