Apsalar was founded in 2010 as a mobile analytics provider, having since evolved into an end-to-end mobile network, operating an advertising marketplace and a mobile DSP. Apsalar is based in San Francisco and, in 2011, it raised a $5MM Series A round led by Thomvest Ventures.

Apsalar’s mobile app analytics platform, Apscience, offers segmentation tools, audience management (behavioral segmentation) functionality, real-time cohort analysis, and funnel analysis. Apscience is offered as a free tool, seemingly to complement the company’s other products, such as its mobile attribution platform and ad network.
